Today we are featuring the Port Craig Heritage Site, listed with
Heritage New Zealand Pouhere Taonga. This comprises the original Sawmill License issued to Marlborough Timber Company - in September 1919. This is just one of a collection of historic archives held by the Southern DoC offices, and shared here as part of an ongoing collaborative agreement we have with them, at the CWArchives. I have great memories of hiking the Hump Ridge Track in 2018.

@KingSara Funfact, I'm currently #digitising the #history of the #Murihiku #Southland #WesternDistrict #HumpridgeTrack as it becomes a #GreatWalk #Aotearoa #NZ in a year's time... I think a few people will come & do multiple walks.
