@mr_creosote Has so much fun with my oldest daughter playing the #PuttPutt games. She really enjoyed them and I really recommend parents playing these games with their children (before they get ruined by modern microtransaction games). You should also check out #FreddiFish also by #HumongousEntertainment. Thanks Ron @grumpygamer !

My daughter and I played #PuttPuttGoesToTheMoon last night. She's six. It was already a bit simple for her. I assume this one was intentionally made for an even younger audience. "Puzzles" were really fetch quests with explicit tasks. The number of location being very limited, it took just an hour end to end. Was fun.

#SpyFox done. There wasn't actually so much left. Though it nevertheless took us almost another hour. This was, unfortunately, typical for the game as a whole. End to end, there was too much back and forth. The repeated returning to the village while already in the bad guy's headquarters threw pacing off completely.

My rating: thumbs down, for the reasons stated in this and previous posts

Continuing with #SpyFox. The Tango scene and the related puzzle was sort of clever, but obvious enough to figure out quickly. The timing was a bit off, however. Due to the length of the animation, we had to click the sheet music *while the conductor was watching*, which definitely is counterintuitive.

Short session with my daughter playing #SpyFox, Dry Cereal. Nice initial structure of first restricting the player to very few options, letting them get used to what kind of interaction is even expected. Leading to quick rewards. Then slowly opening up. I have no feeling of how far we are along to be honest.

Bad side (adult perception): German translation goes back and forth between different wordings for the same thing, lines obviously recorded without context etc.
