Looks like AbbVie has a new Humira facility in Germany to undercut the biosimilars. But their Adalimumab Fertigspritze (the injection device) are no where near as safe as my previous brand Hulio.
The new Abbvie ones are the cheapest non-retractable needles I have seen.
The pharmacy says to throw them in the normal burnable rubbish like the other safer variant. 😳
(I don’t use a pen injector as the buttons are too stiff for my hands to work them).

I saw my #Rheumatologist in person today for the first time since #Humira caused my liver and kidney debacle. She listened to me. She explained why she isn't keen on what I want (my #Methotrexate back), but she understands why I want it. In the end, she came up with a treatment plan that is aggressive (more #Inflectra more often and a wee methotrexate dose) but will hopefully not send my liver and kidneys into a spiral. I left her office feeling heard. 🩷 Such a gift to a patient. #NEISVoid
