I am pooped - but my lawns are now done for another week.
After swimming this morning & then the lawns for which I ended up with one of those ocular migraines & couldn’t exactly see what I was doing properly for that last 15minutes & couldn’t even admire my handiwork for the same reason. I think I did a pretty good job.
The vision nearly ok again as I’m finishing my lunch & from what I can see of the garden the lawn is ok, a few spots not quite as tidy, but I’ll sort that out with clippers later.
I’m so sweaty though & haven’t even cleaned up properly as I’m waiting for the wet grass to dry on the mower & whipper snipper a little before I do. Then I predict a very early shower & maybe even think about putting pjs on instead of getting dressed again 😬. #Humid #Garden #LawnMowing #Exercise -

Has monsoon started in southern New Mexico?
Almost, but not quite.
Like a gasoline engine, coughing and sputtering to life...the dewpoint, from hour to hour, is swinging through big changes as a battle between dry desert air and moist gulf air collide and mix chaotically.
Note that the wind, for almost the last 24 hours...has been steady from the east. It'll swing back to west either tonight or tomorrow morning.
Once monsoon sets in, dewpoint will remain high, and wind will almost always come from the east.
