  1. Successfully bullied Senna into reading the first section of the first chapter of #HumblePi.

But no asking about the contents afterwards, or I’ll drop it now!
So, I come out of the shower, and after her complaining that she now has another problem, namely not owning a bookmark:

    Me: “So, how was it?”

Senna: “Much nicer than I thought. […] Also the part about the Pepsi points and how people don’t have an intuition for large numbers”

Me: “Can you remind me what that was about, it’s been a while since I’ve read it?”

    Senna: [summarizes the story]

Me: “Congratulations, you’ve just tricked yourself into giving a book report.”

    Senna: “Aaaaah!!”

(She has a bit of a trauma regarding book reports, because she used to just write them based of online summaries when she was in school, then one time did it honestly when she really liked the book and
that was of course the one time that she got accused of plagiarism. Also: Books in school are of course rarely very good.)

  6. 5 years ago we got one of Homeboy Sandman's best albums, thanks in no small part to the production of the incredible Edan.

Homeboy Sandman has a sense of humor and intellect that comes through immensely on every album he does. This one here feels a little more fun but still has a layer of cleverness that only Homeboy Sand could pull off. And then Edan just brings the entire thing to an elevated sonic landscape.
