I had no idea that Randy Newman made music before he started working for Pixar and Disney. It wasn’t until I took Bob Buzzanco’s American History classes at UHouston and he’s always pair up different songs that related to the lectures and one of those songs was Randy Newman’s 1974 song “Kingfish” (https://youtu.be/riOxEDVfkt8?si=TQ-r_3sOcovDpgQL) about Huey Long. Instantly made me reconsider Newman’s work
