Waking up to the news that #vegan brand #Huel is being bought out by the pro-dairy mega corp, #Danone. So, this is the end of my subscriptions and I'm formally requesting they delete my account. I refuse to support anything Danone related until they stop funneling cash to prop up the #dairy industry.

Trying #Huel for the first time.
Not quite as disgusting as people made it sound. The cinnamon flavour is basically liquid dessert. Texture isn't brilliant. But basically inoffensive.
I wonder if they have savoury flavours?
Let's hope it doesn't fuck up my guts 😆
(Having dental surgery soon and want to acclimatise to a liquid diet. Not that I need to justify me dietary choices, but hopefully that will stave off the rabid morons.)

#Huel journey starts tomorrow. First order came in last week.
Won’t be an every workday meal, but interested in swapping out my lunch for it a couple of times a week.

So I bought some #Huel greens (£50). I'm not sure what to make of it, tbh. It seems to have a slight metallic after taste. For my palate, maybe I need a bit more than a flat scoop, as it tastes watery. Finally, I'm wondering if you're supposed to drink the whole lot in one go. I thought you sipped at it? 🤷♂️
I'll carry on, though. I need to, I've got fifty quids worth.🤣

Sometimes I bump into cases where people complain that they can't/it's hard to prepare the #ProteinShake even when using dedicated "shaker" like this one from #Huel.
It's not. The trick here is that you absolutely have to put the plant based mylk in first and the powder second.
The other way will inevitably make clumps of hard to break protein wet balls that often times even stick on the side of the shaker and are a nightmare to get rid of.
Try it. It helps a lot.

Got a free sample of four bottles of the new premixed #Huel Black, as I am a long term Huel customer. This is the higher protein variety (though normal Huel also has a load of protein). Arrived just as I was thinking of making breakfast which was convenient.
Pretty decent - hand mixed Huel Black is a little "chunkier" than normal which puts some people off, but this is completely smooth. I normally hate chocolate flavours but this is fine, balanced and not obnoxiously sweet, like actual cocoa.

#Huel to chyba moje prywatne odkrycie roku. Długo byłem sceptyczny do jedzenia w proszku, ale okazuje się, że to nie jest to samo co zupki w proszku. Ciężko to porównać z dobrej jakości potrawami, ale u mnie sprawdza się idealnie jako alternatywa do zamawiania fast foodu. W tym porównaniu ma mnóstwo plusów i żadnego minusa.

🇬🇧 Turns out I've already eaten 1000 #Huel shakes! Actually I've been eating them for a long time, but it didn't occur to me that it's been that many 😉 I can say that overall I'm a fan of this product, because it has completely replaced my breakfasts, every day.

@bigMouthCommie There are dozens of us! I've been drinking #Huel since 2019. Banana is my favorite flavor shake and mushroom pasta is my favorite hot and savory meal.
I've often wished that there was something like cat food for humans: something nutritionally complete you can pour out of a bag or can and eat. Huel comes pretty close to my dream.

Alright - I've now tried just about every #Huel Hot & Savory flavor - only one left is the green curry, here are my flash reviews of each (from best to worst)
Spicy Indian Curry (10/10): My favorite for sure, tastes heavily of garam masala, the mouthfeel is reminiscent of Palak Dal. It's flavorful, which also being understated enough that you can eat it several days in a row without getting tired of it
Chicken & Mushroom Pasta (9/10): Honestly they should have just called this one Chicken Stroganoff because that's what it is. Creamy, savory, and very filling
Yellow Coconut Curry: It's honestly really impressive how much this tastes like a dish you'd get in a thai restaurant. If I got served a bowl of this at an actual thai restaurant I don't think I'd bat an eye. If you like yellow coconut curry, you'll like this, simple as that. Only downside is that it's richness makes eating it two days in a row a bit unappealing

Any other #huel hot&savory fans out there have any suggestions for alternate containers for prepping it in?
I have the one sold by huel, but it's so uninsulated that it's a pain (literally) to carry around while the contents are "cooking", plus it'd be nice to get something a bit less cheap and plastic looking

Pare miesięcy temu zacząłem chodzić na siłownie aby troszkę przybrać na masie, ale dość szybko okazało się że zamiast przytyć, to schudłem kolejne 2kg 😆
Postanowiłem więc dołożyć kilkaset kalorii do mojego menu i spróbować tzw. powder foods (uwielbiam shake'i, więc pomyślałem że spróbuje).
Na pierwszy ogień poszedł #huel (wanilia, banan, słony karmel, czekolada), a kilka tygodni później #jimmyjoy (wanilia, kokos, pistacja). No i powiem wam że jest zajebiście.
Shake'i są pyszna (zwłaszcza jak zrobi się je w blenderze na "mleku" migdałowym), a dodatkowo na wadze odnotowałem już dodatkowe 3 kg! 💪
Zauważyłem też ze całkowicie przestałem pic wieczorami piwo 🍺 bo teraz jak mam ochotę na coś zimnego do wieczornego grania/oglądania, to zastępuje je zimnym shake'iem.
Jeżeli ktoś ma jakieś pytania to chętnie odpowiem. Jeżeli ktoś chciałby wypróbować Huel'a lub JimmyJoy'a, to zapraszam do skorzystania z moich referrali, wtedy oboje dostaniemy po 50 PLN zniżki 🤝
