  1. @jalefkowit
I had to learn how to make a website in 1996, in order to publish the first www.brasil.gov.br version. Siegel's book was my first Amazon's purchase. #InvisibleTables and #SinglePixelGIFs became my main tools, and now I can understand why it took so long for me to get into #CSS. #HTMLterrorism was really something!!

  2. If you've played with #HTML in the 90s, you'll want to read this from @ricmac. I was part of Siegel's #hacks' (#HTMLterrorism) cult.

"With the rise of #Flash and #CSS in 1997, three #webdesign philosophies emerged. #DavidSiegel advocated for 'hacks', #JakobNielsen kept it simple, while #JeffreyZeldman combined flair with usability."
