Hills Symphony Orchestra are playing an exciting concert on the afternoon of Sunday 14th June. It's our first ever World Premiere! The Baritone Saxophone Concerto has never been performed before. It is a gorgeous, melodious expression of joy. You will love it. The concert also features Beethoven's 3rd Symphony ('Erioca').
The orchestra website is currently broken but tickets can be bought from https://www.trybooking.com/DLPIR or at the door on the day (assuming we aren't sold out)

NGC 281 - the Pacman Nebula in Cassiopeia. A return to a familiar object, this time with a new setup and considerably more integration time. In the Hubble palette (HSO), the dark Bok globules stand out with particular clarity - dense dust structures being eroded by the radiation pressure of the young cluster IC 1590, while possibly hiding new star formation deep within.

Kjennelsen fra fredagens rettsmøte har ennå ikke kommet, mens maskinene durer og trærne knaker.
Helse Sør-Øst er over loven, og naturen er under alt.

Nå har de begynt å felle de 150-200 år gamle trærne!
Jeg får høre fra Kristoffer Robin Haug, MDG-politiker og sentralstyremedlem, som var der tidligere i dag, at på tross av at det ventes en kjennelse fra rettsmøtet på fredag i dag, og at det ventes at den vil si at de ikke får starte arbeidet ennå – for å undersøke nærmere om det er et brudd på Naturmangfoldsloven – så har de altså startet i dag! Etter 8 uker. Mistenkelig timing.
