Wife and I were watching Deadwind on #Netflix and it occurred to me how much I find myself repeating the things they say in Finnish (kitos, thanks) and that I should find a show in #Serbian/ #Croatian to help with my learning there. Any recommendations out there for entertaining (not too bleak) shows I might stream with English subtitles and #Srpski/ #Hrvatski audio?
so much of what I find is valid storytelling but so bleak. Poverty, war, abuse, misery. Any more standard mysteries, comedies?

It's been a long time coming, but it's finally here, the 3rd issue of ++Mag, a quarterly magazine published by Bosnian IT company Klika (I am their community manager).
As a journalist, I am somewhat in charge of different aspects of the magazine. After the great November migration from Twitter (X) to Mastodon happened, I informed my colleagues I wanted to do a piece on Fediverse.
So it happened. As far as I know, this is the first journalistic insight into Fediverse published in Bosnia.
I'd like to thank the outstanding people who helped me to write it down by providing answers: @[email protected], @atomicpoet , @[email protected], @[email protected] of @[email protected], @[email protected] and [email protected] for that excellent @[email protected] 😀
The feeling of failure you get from every finished article is not new - you always think you could delve deeper and explain something better. I feel I haven't scratched the surface with this article and the topic of Fediverse.
But this article is basically a conversation starter piece, and I hope it will shed some more light on a great alternative that will be able to spark more civilized conversations across WWW.
