The Human Rights Council #HRC52 took place in Geneva from 27 Feb-4 April. This session adopted 43 resolutions incl 5 led by the EU🇪🇺 and a dozen by EU Member States. Together as #TeamEurope we #StandUp4HumanRights. Read more on our website🔽

Racism, racial discrimination and xenophobia are an affront to human dignity. They have to be overcome. The EU therefore supported both the renewal of the mandate of the Special Rapporteur on #racism and of the International Working Group on the #DDPA. #HRC52

Myanmar is a country in freefall. The responsibility for this lies fully w/ the Myanmar military, which commits the worst atrocities to stay in place. The resolution adopted by #HRC52 condemns in the strongest terms the violence inflicted by the military on the people of Myanmar.
