My latest bit of #TravellerRPG material has arrived: the updated Central Supply Catalogue for Mongoose 2nd edition. I wish I'd had this for inspiration back when I was developing #StarCadre Combat Class for #msdos back in 2024. #cga #hp100lx

I dearly wanted a #PoqetPC when I first learned about them. I should have picked one up before second hand prices went through the roof. I'm glad I have the #hp100lx but I'd love to know that the Poqet's keyboard feels like. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Poqet_PC

Ever since I saw this Q&A about "LCD mode" I've wanted to implement it in my games. My #hp100lx has the feature built in, but some #msdos #cga portables like the Amstrad PPC and the Psion MC don't. But I realised it's more complex than just inverting all the graphics as you load them. It looks like the #hp100lx will be replacing my ailing Psion Series 3 as my daily driver. I'm quite impressed with the built-in software. And of course it has all my games on it, along with a bunch of other people's games. So it won't be all work and no play. I think I need stronger reading glasses though.
