«Nine Inch Noize» el proyecto colaborativo entre Nine Inch Nails y el DJ Boys Noize. El álbum es una colección de reversiones de canciones de NiN, algo de How to Destroy Angels y un cover de Soft Cell. Está más que interesante 👌🏻

And one last for #WingingIt in Kitty's #TuneTuesday:
#HowToDestroyAngels: On the Wing
I hear the warnings on the wing
I don't believe in anything
I hear the voices rise and sing
But I don't believe in anything

The How to Destory Angels project with Trent Reznor, Atticus Ross and Reznor’s wife Mariqueen Maandig is extremely underrated. They only have 1 full album (https://youtube.com/playlist?list=OLAK5uy_ngw2bHar7AQOzzFBIr9eSdcUInFVxGQsU&si=Ss0z3bf7lHg0LKNu) and 2 (https://youtube.com/playlist?list=OLAK5uy_k_aYrV93zgC97zpHz-I5-cbe710bIikjs&si=wLyn0SGR4P4nQEeR) EPs (https://youtube.com/playlist?list=OLAK5uy_mQ9ozrZRasoS3V-wYKdvzSMiNzH9SwrEU&si=xxaJLAgN19tdsqb0). But they’re worth checking out and hopefully they make more music in the future

Aha, it seems the #WelcomeOblivion iTunes bonus tracks are basically the first self-titled EP by #HowToDestroyAngels. It’s a pity their first and only LP didn’t continue more in that vein.
I’ve really tried to like #WelcomeOblivion by #HowToDestroyAngels (a side project of #TrentReznor and his wife #MariqueenMaandig) but it just consistently doesn’t work. I realise it’s perhaps intended to be ‘sensual’. However, as with many supposedly sensual records, it ends up plain dull. So careful and calculated that it is unable to convey any real emotion. The singing is just there, without wrapping me in a voice or a world.
Weirdly the bonus tracks on the iTunes version are much better!
"All these little strings
Holding us together
All these precious things
Can't make them last
All these little strings
Keep holding us together
All these precious things
Make them last forever"

How To Destroy Angels - The Space in Between
“Maybe I'll just disappear
If I can't keep my head above the tide”
"I am made of magic and wires
And I am everything at the end of it all
I am moving from the mouths of liars
And I am everything and nothing at all
I am seeking order from within
I am aberration by design
Still right here as I have always been
I am nature, perfect by design"
"I can feel it taking hold
Now I am an animal
Now I am a chemical
Once again
Feel it coming through the crack
Everything is right on track
I am never coming back
Again and again and again
And again and again
Everything! (Everything! Everything!)
Everything is echoing! (echoing! echoing!)
Is this really happening? (happening? happening?)
Again and again and again
And again and again"
"I don't know if you can hear me over this
I don't know if you can hear the sound
I don't know if you're aware of what's happening
I don't know if you should stick around
It's arriving in a wave of violence
It's arriving with an elegant grace
You can't fuck with the way of nature
Everything is falling into place"

#30DaySongChallenge day 14: a song you’d love to be played at your wedding
not sure about that one, but here’s a track, instead.
how to destroy angels – a drowning
I've been listening to #WelcomeOblivion by #TrentReznor's #HowToDestroyAngels (named after an album by #Coil) and I'm struggling to decide whether it's more or less intriguing than #NIN's latest material.
The tone is far more interesting, but somehow vocally would need a little more oomph, especially from #Mariqueen. A little more drama. By that I don't necessarily mean Reznorish screaming, but just a bit more spice. See #DieForm #VoltaicControlSystem for a wonderful example, or #MIA.

How To Destroy Angels' "Ice Age" really is #PostApocalyptic #bluegrass for a #destroyed world. I still love it so much.
#Music I'm into anything but new country and a lot of new pop rap. I'm a huge fan of #TrentReznor #ChinoMoreno #MaynardJamesKeenan and all their many bands. #Tool #Puscifer #PerfectCircle #Deftones #Crosses #TeamSleep #NIN #AtticusRoss #HowToDestroyAngels
Oh and i really like #HEALTH #QueensOfTheStoneAge #TobeNwigwe #DepecheMode #TheCure and #PearlJam
