I could post so many more, but Monday will be over soon, nor do I wish to swamp the thread.

I will, however, make one more post of the idol who might well be my ultimate bias - Eunha.

I would write more about this stage; I have not yet put my thoughts in writing, but will do soon, I hope.

"Closer" has been an important song in my kpop listening history. When I discovered it, I understood that kpop could cast its own distinct spell.

Mimi's rap was like nothing I had heard before, and I warmed to the
innovative lyricism of "Milky Way is on!" She looks wonderful too!

It's still #KpopMonday here! I know the exact moment I knew Hyungwon is my ult bias. Up to this point Shownu and Jooheon were my Monsta X biases. For #HowIMetMyBias I present the Rodeo self cam version from the We Are Here tour in 2019! I actually saw this tour live in NYC and while I had some inkling that Hyungwon would be my bias based off of the unit stages it wasn't until Rodeo that I was sure.

I've been so busy today but I need to at least post about this guy.

For a long time I really didn't have a Bangtan bias. I genuinely love them all for different reasons.

However, Jin's sense of humour, his quiet leadership and the way he supports the rest of the team .. and his commitment to the 'WWH Bit' tipped the scales. Also, his awkward dancing is completely endearing, and he deserves more credit for his vocals.

I first got into WJSN in the Save Me, Save You era. As well as being taken with their dreamy cosmic synth pop, I was also struck by how extraordinarily beautiful the members are, even by kpop standards. Part of me wants to say I bias everybody in the group, but that seems like cheating.

Bona was the first member whose name I learned, so perhaps she was my first WJSN bias.

I have mixed feelings about Everglow, but this stage delighted me because the song is so good and Aisha is such a striking presence.

In a recent discussion of seeing kpop live, I expressed a fear that encountering idols in real life could prove to be an awful disllusion. For example, the Aisha of my imagination is over 6ft; of course I know she isn't that tall really , but I do not want to see my bias not as I have imagined her.

It took a couple of months of devouring #StrayKids content before #Seungmin became my unshiftable bias.

It happened during #KingdomLegendaryWar and the Mayfly performance of Love Poem, which Ive already shared.

There are some moments in the lead-up to the actual performance that had me going omg this motherfucker I adore him.

The first one-on-one meeting with #Eunkwang of BtoB, where Seungmin starts off by *winking* at him. Sunbae 10 years his senior, Seungmin should've been at least a bit intimidated, but nah.
