Just a few of the highlights include a labyrinth circle, interactive water feature, willow dome circle, tumbled glass pond with wooden bridge and a wooden swing seat.

The aim of the sensory garden is to provide both children and adults with autism a safe and stimulating environment to explore their senses.

The estate has been the ancestral seat of the Earls Grey since the 14th century. The current Howick Hall was built in 1782 by architect William Newton for Sir Henry Grey, 1st Baronet.

Howick Gardens today. Bumped into a friend from a botany group I belong to, an ex Professor of botany and author of several gardening books.- so he knows a thing or two about gardens. I said I thought it was the best garden in Northumberland, he replied "I didn't think there was any doubt". Id you visit the Northumberland coast, make sure it's on your itinerary.

The grounds surrounding Howick Hall are renowned for their gardens, which cover over 65 acres. The gardens include a woodland walk, the formal Earl Grey Garden, the Wildflower Walk, and the Arboretum. The gardens are known for their stunning displays of rhododendrons, azaleas, and other flowering plants.
