When people argued that Israel was attacking multiple countries, they missed the point entirely. Israel was fighting just one country, Iran. Iran funds and controls Hamas. Iran funds and controls Hezbollah. Iran funds and controls the Houtis.
Iran is an oppressive regime that represses and terrorizes its own people, including women and queer folks in ways that almost resemble the oppression we see in Afghanistan.

While I see a great deal of discourse online about the wars between Israel and various terrorist organizations (Hamas, Hezbollah, the Houtis) as well as Iran itself, we seldom hear about those organizations being Iran proxies, paid for, trained by and supplied by the Iranian regime- the same regime that sets fire to synagogues in Australia according to the Australian government.
While one might argue that the actions of the Iranian regime are justified (a position I do not hold), I can't imagine what justification one can have for setting fire to a place of worship that's across the ocean or the bombing of a Jewish Community Center in Argentina in 1984.
The people of Iran deserve better and Jews deserve safety.
