So... I'm sitting in a 12'x12' room with many beloved houseplants, a baritone saxophone, a digital piano, and my clothes and books. I've been paying $650/month for this room, but I'll be losing it in August when the lease (that I'm not on) ends. I've been laid off since around December, looking for new work now and have four+ months of savings... but that won't be enough to relocate, or to be approved for any rental despite additional $755/month VA benefits. #madisonwi #housinghunt
