At the end, he refers to his successor, in a context that can only refer to the party leadership. But he never actually says that he is resigning as leader of #ScottishLabour. Is he still leader?

A tough 5 years for Scotland's silliest clown show. Traditionally, every other year the leader of #ScottishLabour would be humiliatingly defenestrated, and replaced with someone even less competent.
#AnasSarwar cheated by staying for 5 years, almost a million times the average tenure. The comedy cane from losing elections with increasing severity.
Now he restores the humiliation by crawling to the #HouseOfLords.

#HouseOfLords is the world's 2nd-largest legislative chamber. Only China's National People's Congress is bigger. After the removal of the hereditaries, it now consists of 26 bishops and 746 unelected political cronies.
It should be replaced by a much smaller elected Senate. But instead of a purge, the much-hated outgoing Prime Minister #Starmer has appointed 26 new cronies, including at least 1 fatcat donor.
And they still claim that #UKania is a democracy! 😅🤣

#Starmer's ''reforms' have taken the UK's #HouseOfLords from 85% appointed cronies to 96% appointed #cronies. He ejected the 92 #HereditaryPeers, but kept the 26 bishops and about 700 cronies.
It's over a century since the Parliament Act 1911 promised the UK an elected upper house, but not "immediately". The number of elected members remains 0%. Zilch. Nada. Nothing.
96% appointed cronies. And they call it "democracy".
