Playtime: 26mThe Dark Pictures Anthology: House of Ashes is a third-person interactive survival horror game.
This is the third of this month's Humble Choice Bundle games, and by the same developer as The Quarry, Supermassive Games.
Unfortunately, like The Quarry, this is another playable horror movie, and like The Quarry, I have no desire to play it.
In one sense, I'm disappointed. It's not like this is a bad game. The design quality and atmosphere are great, the sound design is excellent.
This is very much a me problem, rather than a gameplay issue.
If interactive survival horror movies are your thing, you'll probably get a kick out of it.
On the other hand, I'm going to have to play *something* else to be able to relax enough to sleep.

OK, decided to give #Bugsnax another try this morning.
Still have to figure out the best at play through for my #HouseOfAshes gaming. Do want to get to the ๐ฏ 100% with that game as well. It's gonna take some more hours, I'm sure ๐
But now, some bugs here and there. I even got myself a trophy just now. ๐ -
After #HouseOfAshes I should head back to #TheQuarry as there's still some trophies to get there as well. ๐
I would not call myself a hunter, I have way too little trophies for that. But I do love getting trophies as I feel they let me explore the game better. ๐ -

Now I'll need to read up on how to get the ones I still miss. I need 11 more to get the platinum one. So still some plays I guess. And some chapter selects here and there.
But not today... I feel exhausted now ๐. -
OK, finished the story of #HouseOfAshes for a second time.
If the guides are correct, a simple chapter select and some other actions should lead to another trophy, so I'm trying to get that one now as well...It's cooled off a bit outside, went from 34 to 31ยฐC and the weather app said it's gonna rain in about half an hour. Let's wait and see....

Your actions matter.
Your game can go in so many different directions...
It feels like a different game every time you play it and choose some different options.
I think #HouseOfAshes has like over 60 ways to kill the main characters... ๐ Just saying.

So I did my usual morning routine, where we went to the water for Arwen as it's gonna be a hot day.
I *should* ride my hometrainer a little though..
But all I wanna do is lay back and play more #HouseOfAshes.
So I guess I should ride a bit and then....... Lay back and finish my second solo play through of the game.

I'm really enjoying #HouseOfAshes and I hope to get it to 100% before the vacation.

Finished my *heads only* play through this afternoon of #TheDarkPicturesAnthology #HouseOfAshes and got myself 3 new trophies. Still quite a few to go. But I found some guides, so hopefully they will help me to the 100%. It will probably require some more plays ๐ and some reloads of bits. I think I need 5 more collectibles... Enough to do!
