Our water heater has gone tits up and needs to be replaced. Installation costs are prohibitive, so I'm trying to research it for myself. Our current heater is 3500 watts on a split breaker, each tagged with 20 amps. I dunno if that's combined, or not.
Im looking at a 4500w water heater which, if I did the math right, needs 18.75 amps. Will it be enough?
