Yes well, my idea was going to be a quiet, calm & peaceful afternoon after seeing my sister. My niece from Perth & her husband had other ideas though. Did I want to go for a trip up to Bright for lunch & to visit the Christmas shop plus a few hours around the area with them. Sure, I was up for that & off we went, not knowing that there was a hot rod run on up there. It was bonkers in Bright, cars everywhere & we were hard pressed to find a park. There were some amazing cars to see, but the below vehicle definitely caught my attention. Just a simple lunch & a visit to the lolly shop up there where I got little treats for the grandkids for Christmas. My niece bought a few things in the Christmas shop which is huge & hugely expensive, I bought nothing 😁. We drove up to Bright via Yackandandah & came home via Beechworth & didn’t get back home until after 5pm. It was a lovely afternoon & great to see so many visitors to the Myrtleford, Porepunkah, Bright area after the horrible time they all had a few months ago. #RoadTrip #Family #HotRods.

During this event we had three separate people come over to tell us fascinating stories about Haflingers they'd had or been around. Two showed us photos!

One lady wandered by with a smile on her face, saying to the kid with her she had one, and it was such a fun car. 😆

Great event, would do again.
