#MelodyMonday 布袋寅泰 / HOTEI「Horizon」【Official Music Video】
It's not idol, but it's good. Very different from the last MV HOTEI released. This is a fine mellow guitar piece with the backing of an orchestra.

JRock: 布袋寅泰 / HOTEI 「Highway Star」【OFFICIAL MUSIC VIDEO】
It's not idol, but it's good. Stumbled on it when a friend referred me to some new avant-garde HOTEI. This isn't it but it was what grabbed me. A wonderful Deep Purple cover.

I first heard Tomoyasu Hotei's Save Me at the end of #SamuraiFiction, a 1998-ish samurai movie. The moon slowly rising above the trees to the song is still my favourite version of it. SF has an amazing soundtrack by Hotei, who also appears in the movie.
This isn't the movie credits version, despite the moon. There's a slower build up to when the guitar (& the song) explodes, 2 minutes in here.
