HP Eliteboard G1a. Powrót do przeszłości? Nie, to pełnoprawny PC ukryty w klawiaturze

Na CES 2026 HP postanowiło rzucić wyzwanie definicji komputera przenośnego. Zamiast kolejnego smukłego laptopa, firma pokazała urządzenie, które na pierwszy rzut oka wygląda jak zwykła klawiatura biurowa.

W środku Eliteboard G1a kryje się jednak wydajny komputer z procesorem AMD Ryzen.

Wszystko w jednym (dosłownie)

Koncepcja „komputera w klawiaturze” nie jest nowa – starsi czytelnicy pamiętają czasy Commodore 64 czy Amigi, a młodsi kojarzą Raspberry Pi 400. HP przenosi jednak ten pomysł do świata biznesu i segmentu premium.

HP Eliteboard G1a to pełnowymiarowa klawiatura QWERTY (z blokiem numerycznym), która w swoim wnętrzu mieści płytę główną, procesor AMD Ryzen, pamięć RAM, dysk, a także głośniki i mikrofony. Całość waży ułamek tego, co typowy laptop, i zajmuje znacznie mniej miejsca w torbie.

Jak to działa?

Zasada jest banalnie prosta: przychodzisz do biura, wyjmujesz klawiaturę i podłączasz ją jednym kablem USB-C do monitora. Jeśli monitor wspiera przesyłanie zasilania (Power Delivery), to wystarczy jeden przewód, by urządzenie ożyło i wyświetliło pulpit Windowsa.

HP wyposażyło sprzęt w dwa porty USB-C, więc jeśli monitor nie daje wystarczająco dużo prądu, drugi port służy do zasilania lub podłączenia dodatkowych akcesoriów. Co ciekawe, ma pojawić się też wariant z wbudowaną baterią, co uniezależni użytkownika od gniazdka na czas krótkich prezentacji czy pracy w terenie (choć nadal będziemy potrzebować ekranu).

Po co nam to?

HP celuje tym produktem w firmy, które stawiają na elastyczne miejsca pracy. W biurowcach, gdzie na każdym biurku stoi już monitor i myszka, pracownik nie musi nosić ze sobą całego laptopa z ekranem i ciężką baterią. Wystarczy, że przyniesie swoją „inteligencję” w formie lekkiej klawiatury.

To rozwiązanie ma trafić do sprzedaży w marcu 2026 roku. Cena nie jest jeszcze znana, ale biorąc pod uwagę markę „Elite”, tanio raczej nie będzie.

Not only does hot-desking make workers feel under-valued and disrespected, but it also reduces productivity. Every morning, at a new desk, I have to reset the positions of my various windows. And sometimes the mouse has a different sensitivity and I have to fix that, too.

Like the one I've got today. I've got the mouse tracking speed maxed out, and it still feels sluggish. WTF?

One of the cool¹ things about hot-desking is how it helps you become more aware of your ergonomic requirements... by forcing you to set up your chair, desk, monitor height, etc., all over again, every morning.
