It was an exciting time, lots of great records were coming out, and there were pirate radio stations like the Dread Broadcasting Company based near Portobello Road. It was great playing at The Batcave – full stop! I never think about who’s in the audience though, I’m 100% in the zone on-stage, everything else ceases to exist!
