its rare to have a year where a film meant so much to me that i'd call it my all time favorite.this was such year. Tumbling Doll of Flesh is a film that i adore so much i have trouble articulating. i've watched so many faux snuff films since and the middle section of tdof is unlike anything else. some of the most daring, empathetic and bravura filmmaking i have ever seen.
also most importantly its got #oreos

Fun fact: Roger Ebert gave The Devil's Rain 1½ stars out of four, and eventually added it to his "Most Hated" movies list.

I’m leaving Facebook this week. I’m so excited about starting over fresh and new. It’ll be the end of a 13 year saga over 3 accounts.
They don’t have the social spaces that other apps offer. There is not cohesive #horror Facebook community. No Book Facebook. (BookBook?) The algorithm ruined it for me. I couldn’t see friend’s posts anymore.
So that’s it. I’m done. I’ll be better off in the long run.
