I got an early birthday gift :)
My partner got me an entry level racing wheel for my birthday. I'm having a lot of fun with it! I've been playing some BeamNG.drive and doing some emulated PS3 games. I decided to try it in cyberpunk too and it just works! I tried it with Redout, too, great time but my goodness that game is hard. It's possible I'm stupid, but I couldn't get it working with Assetto Corsa so that game is still sitting in my library unplayed. Es gibt einen netten #Brook Converter um PS3/4 Controller per USB-Kabel an die #PcEngine mini anzuschließen. Die meisten Games spielen sich mit meinem #Hori Fighting Stick 3 mini nämlich besser als mit dem Pad🤗
Leider funktioniert die V1.6 nicht gemäß Releasenotes mit meinem japanischen MD mini, weshalb ich lieber den Retropie nehme🤔
Das Ding ist EOL, wird aber im Dragon Shop noch verkauft 🕹 -
Next up the USB joypad for the #pcengine mini, also made by #hori of course. Last one, I promise. Nothing fancy, just one IC. It is so similar to the original controller, maybe they even used the same mold. No through hole caps sticking out of the pcb though :) #miniconsole

Let's continue with the Multi Tap that #hori made for the #pcengine mini. Unlike the controllers, the multitap is not the same size as the original, it's a bit smaller. What will we find inside? #miniconsole

That's about it for the #pcengine mini. Made by #hori for #konami (digital entertainment) who bought #hudsonsoft in 2012. Plenty of space inside the case, theoretically you could stuff the microUSB OTG splitter cable with an USB stick inside, but should we risk bricking the mini with bad power?

Wer die Bilder sieht, die ich von der Höri und dem Untersee poste, kann vielleicht verstehen, dass dies hier seit meiner Kindheit mein 'Sehnsuchtsort' ist.
Hier war es immer warm und sonnig, gar kein großer Unterschied zu jetzt. Und so hab ich mir das immer gewünscht: ich wohne in einem warmen, sonnigen Paradies*.
Ich wollte eigentlich schon vor 40 Jahren herziehen, hab aber keinen Job gekriegt.
Aber seit genau 11 Jahren wohne ich hier, und will auch nicht mehr weg 🙂 .* Aber trotzdem tu ich alles, um die Erderwärmung aufzuhalten.

Nachdem mein Wochenend-Besuch noch nie so wirklich in #SteinamRhein war, musste das nachgeholt werden. Schöne Wanderung von #Schienen (auf der #Höri) aus in die Altstadt und via #Hohenklingen dann wieder zurück.
Die Grenzübertritte zwischen Großherzogtum #Baden und dem Kanton #Schaffhausen liefen übrigens problemlos. Die Truppe von #Dobrindt war weit und breit nirgends zu sehen...

Fürs Protokoll: das einzige Fahrzeug, das mich heute auf meinem Weg über den berüchtigten Col du #Schienerberg im Stile eines absoluten Honks überholt hat, war ein #rettungswagen. Ich gehe mal davon aus, dass 1,50m Abstand zum #Radfahrer auch im Einsatz gelten. Zumal genug Platz war. Nachschulung, bitte!
Stein am #Rhein hat mich dann aber gleich wieder entschädigt.

Planted extra #snowdrop bulbs in the green at the weekend. Did not take long at all—just as well, there was an icy wind, which made being outside unpleasant—and gave me a chance to use my new #Hori Hori knife for the first time.
Despite its name, it is not a knife but a #Japanese #trowel. Manufacturer suggests to use it as an all-round weeder, bulb-planter and general subterranean rummager.
They also call the Hori Hori a weed digging, plant dividing, seed drilling, bulb planting, pot scraping, stone prising, ivy removing, subterranean rummaging, life saving, rooting tooting all round game-changer.
Hm … After using it once I think that they may have a point.
