The quintent here is Silver joined by Blue Mitchell (trumpet), Junior Cook (tenor sax), Gene Taylor (bass), and Roy Brooks (drums). Recorded by Rudy Van Gelder in Englewood Cliffs, with Alfred Lion producing. My copy—via Amazon—is another Blue Note Tone Poet Series reissue from 2024. This one is new to me, bought it on a whim after reading it was good.
Despite not recognizing the name of the song, I immediately know I played the first song on this when I was in high school #Jazz band.
I’m a minute in and I’m immediately hooked. #NoRegrets

Peace, a beautiful Horace Silver tune. He wrote the melody as well as the lyrics.

Tuesday night #jazz #record. The #paulchambers sextet and a it’s a stellar lineup with #johncoltrane #donaldbyrd #horacesilver #phillyhoejones and #kennyburrell. Some killer playing. Wish I had an OG but this the #Kevingray and #stevehoffman 45rpm remaster and it sounds pretty good for a modern pressing. #jazzvinyl #jazzrecords #recordcollection @vinylrecords

This seems to be the UK version of the Prestige s/t LP from 1955.
Basically, it's the MJQ without John Lewis. Subbing for Lewis - Horace Silver. And subbing for blues-influenced jams, a series of standards.
