Hooptober proceeds apace.
My favorite was "Viy", a charming, fantastical Russian folktale from 1967.
"The Sentinel" has its moments, but Michael Winner is no Fulci.
"Dr. Black, Mr. Hyde"' is a film whose ambitions exceed its grasp, but was a thought-provoking watch. It was clearly made by someone who loved and understood Universal monster movies and was attempting to communicate something about the African-American experience through that frame.

Focusing on the subtitled movies in my #Hooptober list tonight since I have some brain energy!
First up is a movie filmed in Georgia (the country), set in Albania, Zana.

Haven't done #LastFourWatched in quite awhile, and it's a bit late, too, but wanted to get back to it.
Mostly our latest watches are #Hooptober picks. We're having a lot of fun with it.
Saw "The Witch" on a big screen outdoors at a local bar, really enjoyed getting the opportunity to do that.

Die #hooptober Challenge ist geschafft! 🎉 Allerdings war es insgesamt mehr Masse statt Klasse. Mit dem neuesten Ableger der V/H/S Reihe (mit Alien Thematik) hatte ich zumindest großen Spaß, und was atmosphärischen Horror angeht, kann ich CENSOR empfehlen. JAWAN bietet übertriebene Bollywood-Action.
