Marzanna, why do you use Lady instead of Goddess?

Because when subs address me as m'Lady, it sounds like malady.
A malady is a deeply seated disease, & Marzanna is a deity of death & pestilence.
She also represents fertility & rebirth:

ls it reasonable to use Mx as an #honorific for someone whose #gender you don't know? I mean, I can guess based on the first name, but that feels pretty ick to me. It feels like the more inclusive thing to do is go with the most general and let them correct me if they prefer? But that also feels like maybe not entirely respectful to people who genuinely prefer Mx? And possibly confusing to others?

Is there a better honorific that I'm not thinking of?

Amused to note on book supplier's website that while most authors simply have forename and surname listed, Steinbeck is listed as "Mr John Steinbeck" 😁 Loving the addition of "Mr"

based on the comments, names ending in -dr (e.g. 'Aleksandr') will also get parsed as the #honorific 'Dr'.

The 'solution' apparently is to make sure you have an honorific specified, so it doesn't choose to do 'automagic' parsing of the name. In which case, I hope (but doubt) they support the inclusive honorific 'Mx.'
