After studying #Gelug I drifted back to #PureLand. This time I committed to the #nembutsu practice/study. After several months I eventually found my way to the #JodoShu school. Reading the words of #Honen felt like coming home, and opened up the Pure Land #dharma where it had previously eluded my understanding. Though I still have difficulties with practice, I feel secure in my choice of lineage. Reading Honen is immensely comforting and I hope to share his work here on Mastodon.#Buddhism 🧵 2/2
