During the Aston Martin F1 / Honda press conference, Honda Racing President Koji Watanabe answered diplomatically when asked whether he would oppose to having Fernando Alonso as a driver for the team.
"The selection of the drivers of the race is fully up to the team members and not something that a power unit supplier like us is supposed to be making... we will be leaving up the driver selections to the team.”
