Had some rain because it always rains when Christians celebrate summer solstice on the wrong date 🤣
So I kept my hole shut until this afternoon.
Cleaned up the intact glass bottles, because @vaviurka suggested if they were from the occupation era they would have their price in kopeks on the bottom. The bottoms were blank. The blue washed away. Obviously. Its an ink bottle!
Checked a sample of the densely packed clay. Yup, our house stands on red clay that could be used to do pottery with a bit of washing.
I filled most of it back in to the level of the bottom rocks, as there's no need to go deeper and then tried to compact it back down with water and boots.
Helped a little frog get out, too.
