Some thoughts on the new HomePod.

The sound itself I’ve found to be more balanced with better clarity. But it isn’t as loud and maybe lacks some depth compared to the original.

I’m not audiophile or expert by any stretch. But it is a slight downgrade in my opinion. Only redeeming feature for me is the Matter compatibility.

Hm alright, the new #HomePod2 uses an Apple Watch S7 CPU, which makes sense. That is similar to the previous generation of Apple Watches. Ought to be good enough! (it is cited in the press release, as @rosyna told me)
