„HomePad” nadchodzi. Nowy sprzęt Apple z ekranem i AI może zadebiutować już tej wiosny

Wygląda na to, że Apple wreszcie budzi się z zimowego snu w kategorii Smart Home. Po latach plotek i fałszywych startów, najnowsze raporty The Information i 9to5Mac wskazują, że tajemnicze urządzenie łączące cechy HomePoda i iPada jest gotowe do premiery.

Wiosenne przebudzenie

Według The Information, Apple celuje z premierą w wiosnę 2026 roku. Termin ten nie jest przypadkowy. Idealnie pokrywa się z planowanym wydaniem iOS 26.4, który ma przynieść „nową Siri” napędzaną przez silnik Google Gemini.

Urządzenie, roboczo nazywane przez media „HomePad” lub „HomePod Touch”, ma być centralnym hubem dla domowej sztucznej inteligencji. To logiczny ruch – skoro Siri w końcu „zmądrzeje”, potrzebuje dedykowanego naczynia, które postawimy w kuchni czy salonie.

Czy naprawdę potrzebujemy HomePada?

Ekran, głośnik i… robot?

Czym właściwie będzie to urządzenie? Tu raporty są zgodne co do bazy, ale różnią się w detalach:

• Pewniaki: mały ekran dotykowy, wysokiej klasy głośniki i głęboka integracja z Apple Intelligence.
• Kontrowersje: źródła The Information twierdzą, że urządzenie będzie wyposażone w „zrobotyzowaną, obrotową podstawę”, która pozwoli ekranowi śledzić wzrok użytkownika (podobnie jak w Amazon Echo Show 10).

Tu jednak wkracza Mark Gurman z Bloomberga, który studzi emocje. Według niego, Apple pracuje nad dwoma urządzeniami:

• Tańszym „HomePadem” (ekran + głośnik), który zobaczymy teraz.
• Drogim, w pełni zrobotyzowanym ramieniem, które pojawi się dopiero w przyszłym roku (lub później).

Dlaczego teraz?

Opóźnienie premiery (pierwotnie mówiło się o marcu 2025) ma teraz sens. Apple nie chciało wypuszczać sprzętu „AI-first” bez działającego AI. Teraz, gdy umowa z Google jest dopięta, a modele Gemini działają na serwerach Private Cloud Compute, „HomePad” w końcu ma rację bytu.

Czy Apple w końcu namiesza w naszych salonach, czy będzie to tylko „iPad przyklejony do głośnika”? Przekonamy się prawdopodobnie już w marcu.
