I've been volunteering long enough to see people who seemingly get things sorted, deal with issues like drugs, alcohol, gambling and get a job and place to live then in a year they're back. It's tough out there especially on your own and if you had an unstable upbringing, maybe even abuse when young it never really goes away. It's humiliating to fail despite giving it your best shot. That in itself can be demoralising. #homelessnes #MentalHealth #Trauma #CostOfLiving
