Bit of advice needed please good folk of Mastodon
First time home growing potatoes, these are Maris Peers I just harvested. About 90% of them have these scabs on them. They feel firm so I think they are surface blemishes. But can they be eaten with some selective peeling or is the crop a total loss?
Any tips on preventing this from happening?#gardening #vegetables #potatoes #homegrown #homegrowing #homesteading #selfsuffiency

Question for the rosineers out there.
How important is the cure if I’m just squishing the buds anyway? My elementary understanding of the cure is allowing the remaining moisture in the buds to equalize after the dry for a better burn, if this round isn’t going to see a pipe or paper can I skip the cure or will that result in a bad press?
