For a few days now we have a 'hospitality stay' at our home from some lovely people from south-east Asia via the home exchange platform PLU (People Like Us, https://peoplelikeus.world/).
It's amazing what kind of people you meet. And it's refreshingly non-commercial in its nature, where not everything is tried to be peeled down to 'extractable value' (e.g. nights, size of the house, location, ...) and balance it out.
A good side benefit is now that we can visit Bali with a free stay at some point in time.

We have really liked the idea of home swapping, especially with people abroad. My wife has done some research on platforms facilitating that, and it looked like #PeopleLikeUs or #PLU is the one most striking to us by being less commercial and more community driven.
Any other home swapping users out here? What are your experiences?
