Good morning tooters. It was a bit warmer than the forecast last night, 9c when I woke up right on the dot of 6am, today it is getting up to 16c but it is still grey dreary skies 😏. No sun appeared yesterday at all & but there is supposedly some sunshine appearing late this afternoon - who knows if it will appear though 🤷🏼‍♀️.
I got all done yesterday that I wanted to do. My lunch out with my friend went for a couple of hours we talked so much. We haven’t seen each other for more than a month & normally see each other every week. So it was lovely & while we haven’t seen each over this time, we have messaged, but still had a lot to catch up on. The food was pretty good too 😁.
I did have some plans to go for a walk today, but if I do it’ll be after lunch, which is fine. The maintenance guy from CHL is coming late morning today to have a look at my units issues - I’m feeling quite cynical about it all though 😏, unusual for my typical optimistic self - so we will see!

Recently I have been getting some water on the kitchen counter by the dishwasher drain air gap, so I replaced the air gap and cleaned the drain hoses yesterday. I probably didn't need to replace the air gap, because it seems that the root cause was the giant fatberg I got out of the drain line going away from the air gap to the drain. FIgured I'd post about this to help anyone else dealing with this kind of minor home maintenance issue.

Galadriel and Thunder enjoy the breeze through a fresh screen. We replaced the screen ourselves (and then cleaned out the track for the sliding window, which was just full of dirt to the point where it wasn't draining properly). There's still lots to do to fix the window well (and still more window screens to replace and windows to clean), but this made it all look so much better.
