Interesting to see how this same effect is playing out in the English local elections and Scottish/Welsh national elections this May. Increasingly, the idea of any election being seen through and island-wide prism seems fraught with difficulty as the national polities diverge. #Senedd26 #Holyrood26

Public services are there for all of us. When they work well they can lower people's outgoings and give them a strong platform to build a better life. Investing in warm homes is a great example - and our #Holyrood26 manifesto has lots of others.

Interesting indeed to hear this exchange between Gove & Yusuf (Chair, Reform) discussing #Senedd26 and #Holyrood26, the apparent competition for top spot dynamics in both Wales and Scotland of the respective national parties (Plaid Cymru/the SNP) vs Reform UK, and the abolition of devolution debate.
