The "deal" is, abhorrently, a distraction orchestrated by Trump (more likely his AIPAC advisors) to counter increasing criticism, both inside and outside the USA.
As if "less genocide" is worth calling "a deal" anyway. It's a continuation of hypocrisy.
P.S. On March 10, 2024, Israeli president Herzog was allowed to remind the world * that it are only JEWS who always suffer most (after he signed a grenade in Dec. 2023 destined to kids in Gaza).

" 'Their government is clearly out of control, and their army probably as well… It is a despicable disgrace. And for the Israeli people to allow this in their name is a despicable disgrace,' he told Prime Time.
" 'It is so utterly bizarre that we're talking about #Israel, given the horror of their own past. It is bewildering to me,' he said.
" 'I was the founding patron of the #AegisTrust for #GenocideStudies, which is a branch of the British National #HolocaustMuseum. I spent many times with the survivors of the #Holocaust' he told presenter Miriam O’Callaghan, 'were they alive now? They would possibly die of shame. Kennelijk is zeggen dat iedereen in Gaza vermoord mag worden omdat je geen onderscheid ziet tussen Hamas-terroristen en Palestijnse burgers en dus daarmee oproept tot genocide geen belemmering om hier het #Holocaustmuseum te openen. Ik vind het Godgeklaagd.

Zaankanters zijn niet blij dat een oorlogsmisdadiger, president Isaac Herzog van 'israël', zomaar ongestoord een bezoekje aan Nederland kan brengen zonder te worden gearresteerd.
Daarom trok een aantal vandaag naar Amsterdam voor een protest.

De opening door o.m. president #Herzog van het #holocaustmuseum in Amsterdam zorgt ervoor dat ik nooit met mijn kinderen een stap in dat gebouw zal zetten. They don’t walk the talk en practise what they preach. 😟 Wederom maakt ons koninghuis een ernstige fout.
P.S. voor de goede orde: We zijn met de kinderen naar Westerbork, Mauthausen en het Holocaustmuseum in Berlijn geweest de afgelopen jaren.
