The Jewish communitiy's continued commitment to the abjectly failed approach of Holocaust education somehow eliminating antisemitism, despite all evidence to the contrary, is wild to me.
"#Holocausteducation remains essential because it equips new generations to recognise and resist the propaganda, demonisation, and moral distortions that are once again taking hold today. The lessons of the #Holocaust are not merely about protecting #Jews; they are about defending #Westerncivilisation from the return of barbarism. Those seeking to diminish, distort, or silence those lessons are precisely why the story of #AnneFrank remains compulsory learning for every generation.
To remove Anne Frank from the #classroom is to deny #students an opportunity to confront one of #history’s greatest moral failures and to understand how ordinary people can either enable or resist injustice.
A society that forgets Anne risks forgetting what made her story necessary in the first place."

On this day in 1942, Anne Frank received her first diary for her 13th birthday. On the cover page, she wrote: 'I hope I will be able to confide everything to you, as I have never been able to confide in anyone, and I hope you will be a great source of comfort and support." When she went into hiding during the Holocaust, her diary was one of the first items she packed.
