Having the Holm edition of Holos go after my memes account annoys the fuck out of me.
Despite a previous promise, there doesn't seem to be any movement to actually make the tool opt-in. I get that people are enthusiastic about some of the other tools that Holos is developing but they have repeatedly been a bad actor on the Fediverse and have shown no movement toward repairing their shit.
If you have to explain how something is opt-in, it's not opt-in.
