@[email protected] we always go on camping holidays in Scotland and have been doing so since 1998.
Arrive in Newcastle and then head north.
We haven't planned the exact locations yet and it always depends a bit on the weather.
If it's too wet on the west coast, we go to the east coast.
We will certainly stop again in Inverness, where my wife used to work, and possibly also Ullapool.
Since the route has not yet been decided, everything is still very vague.

I'm still impressed at how well the opening hour gets viewers caught up, juggles plots, and keeps the action moving.

This is only my second time watching the Theatrical Editions in at least a decade, so most of the pacing feels really snappy and good.

(Not that I find the Extended Editions boring, but they do have a lot more slow moments.)

The special effects still hold up remarkably well. We are watching in 4K and only get occasional visible layering and lighting issues. Gollum looks really good. Obviously CGI now that we've seen better, but still fantastic.
