We started with the toasted quinoa and baby kale salad with persian cucumber, dried cranberries, blueberries, almonds, and meyer lemon vinaigrette. I like kale generally, but it can be a bit rough when it's raw. Baby kale doesn't have the same roughness, and I'd love for more places to have that in salads.

Dinner last night was at #BrokenSpellLounge in the #DisneylandHotel , next to Goofy's Kitchen. I love the atmosphere in this place (We've only sat at the bar, and all of the staff are great.), and that they've added a number of items to the menu. #HolidaysBeginHere #Disneyland 1/3

Tried the red velvet Mickey-shaped waffles filled with cream cheese and topped with whipped topping and sprinkles from #Schmoozies at #DisneyCaliforniaAdventure . The cream cheese filling was kind of gooey (forgot to take a pic), but the waffle itself and the topping were tasty. Lunch today using the #SipAndSavor pass for #FestivalOfHolidays at #DisneyCaliforniaAdventure also included the braised pork belly adobo with garlic rice, and a second round of the barbacoa tamal de res with Oaxaca cheese, tomatillo salsa, and crema, and the mac and cheese holiday duet (half portion of the al pastor mac & cheese with tortilla crumble and cilantro and half portion of the savory kugel mac & cheese with herb breadcrumbs, sour cream, and chives). #HolidaysBeginHere #Disneyland
