We're in the final three days of our 10-day stay-at-home spring vacation. For most of my son's life, I haven't had enough PTO to take off much of his winter, spring, or summer breaks. But this year, I managed to finally save up enough, thanks to my new boss at my day job, to do April vacay. Right now, my son and I are talking about the video game he's been building in with such care. These convos are so meaningful, and I love being with him.

Been off, recovering from #Covid. Finally over the fatigue. 3 weeks out of comission. Just in time to see my niece off at the airport.

Start of a long weekend. First, disconnect from the world to recharge batteries for 2023. Do what you love to do: try new recipes, weed plants, paint, read books . . . anything to release tension. Make this #holidaybreak a ‘no-knocking-on-my-door’ kind of days.

- Cleaned up, rearranged, and decluttered my room and studio; optimized spaces
- Changed my bedsheets
- Checked on the new cat - his face is much less sad now 🥰
- Had a full lunch

I am on extended leave for #MentalHealth reasons so

#Done #today as of 9:29am:

- Checked on the new cat
- Avoided early morning conflict
- Finally got around to requesting the deactivation for my Lazada shop (Art is not a popular product. Better off setting up my own website shop.)
- FINALLY scheduled my laboratory tests which have been overdue for nearly a year.

I'll be posting more of my achievements for the day as they get done. 🌿

All self-care plans went awry #today, so I filed for another leave tomorrow because my mental and physical state can't sustain a jump back to work without recovery time. We'll see how it goes. My compulsion for order is not helping me rest as I keep seeing a lot of neglected stuff in the house that needs fixing. (My mom is an undiagnosed narcissist, so it's been really hard managing the whole household with her un-cooperation, resistance, and sabotage.) #SelfCare #holidayBreak #MentalHealth
