Hedging on a Monolith Amidst Signs of Stopping
From 2007: "This is several exposures of hedges near PSU. I don't remember how many in a row I shot, but they are lined up equidistant & I tried to catch each from roughly the same distance. Only the last one had the pole directly in front of it. It becomes quite ghostly."

For me, it would be a stack of 5x5 images i took with a #Holga camera. There was only so much you could do with composition and pretty much nothing for exposure.
back then, #120Film was SUPER cheap. So was chemistry. I shot like a madman, cuz it was pretty much free.
That little stack of images has always been one of my favorites.

We made a little vignette with photos, sound recording, and some words. The text is not from our book, but resides in the same neighborhood.
The photos were taken in San Francisco with a #Holga, on Ilford 400. The vibes were recorded in West Seattle.

I took the Holga lens out to a park for a short expedition. This is one of the shots. I did adjust the color and contrast in Photoshop. I don't know if that "ruins" a toy camera image. It does seem to weaken the toy camera look.

From the vaults — August 13th 2017A roll of Rollei CR200 35mm slide film, shot with a modified Holga 120, was to be cross-processed but was misprocessed as BW by the lab — due to "a distraction of the operator", they wrote in a letter of excuses.

When I was tidying my studio I found two #Holga lenses, which I bought years ago and had forgotten about completely.
The lenses are known for their vignetting, blur, light leaks, lack of sharpness, distortions and generally low-fidelity.

Also take note of the exposure number.
I remember being upset with myself at the time for forgetting to advance the film, but it’s one of my favorites now.
