I've started working on a new #HeartsOfIron4 mod for playing as Ireland - or rather, the "dwarves" of Ireland. Basically, infantry equipment is *much* cheaper but less performant.

After 5 or 6 consecutive failed campaigns with France (the longest one was until May 1941) in #hoi4 I thought it’s time to try something different. So I started out yesterday with Hungary, because on Reddit it will be recommended as “you can’t really do much wrong”. Challenge accepted.
I created a meta, where I occupied Austria until the mid of ‘37, I made Czechoslovakia to my puppet until January ‘38. The German Reich wanted to have the Sudetenland and I said: nö.So the game ended for me in November ‘38 😅

“The economy law of a country defines how many Civilian factories civilian factories of all factories are needed to produce Consumer Goods Consumer Goods. It affects the Construction Speed Construction Speed of factories and the conversion cost of factories, as well as altering fuel production. 150 Political power political power is needed to change the economy law if the prerequisites are met. The default economy law is “Civilian Economy”.”

One thing I love about grand strategy games is that there is no winning. You end it when you've had enough.
The other thing I like is the flexibility of gameplay. As much as I love playing tall, playing wide can be fun ocaisionally.
My current grand strategy addiction is #Victoria3, which is great for diplomatic plays. But #HoI4 is probably my most played GS game, but it's almost 100% combat focused #Gaming

Ah, #Finland, my favorite *checks notes* ... Nazi ally ... a part of the "Arms Against Tyranny" dlc for #HOI4. I beg you, please read and stop the absolute #ColdWar brain rot of comparing the #SovietUnion and #Stalin to #NaziGermany and #Hitler. Consider #Churchill and the #BritishEmpire to Hitler and Nazi Germany instead. I'm not saying it's a fantastic comparison, but it fits much better: imperial ambitions, white supremacy, intentionally mass-murdering "inferior races"
