It is the stupidest, most counter-productive, hypocritical, internally inconsistent, and laughable form, but still. We don't expect much different from the #stupidest political regime in the history of North America.
I think I speak for much of Canada when I say, with all my heart, sincerely and truly, "Fuck you, Hoekstra" and "Fuck you, Trump".
Mr. Carney, it's time to grow a backbone to put behind those elbows you love talking about but don't actually seem to be capable of using.

Nachdem der EU-Umweltausschuss grünes Licht gegeben hatte, hat nun auch das EU-Parlament für den Niederländer Hoekstra als neuen Klimakommissar gestimmt. Um seine Nominierung hatte es zunächst Diskussionen gegeben.

Ein früherer Mitarbeiter des #Ölkonzern #Shell wird also neuer EU-#Klimakommissar. Und dieser soll bei der kommenden #Klimakonferenz #COP28 in #Dubai mit dem Vorsitzenden Sultan Ahmed #AlJaber, der auch CEO des 12.-größten #Ölkonzerns (Abu Dhabi National Oil Company #ADNOC) ist, über #Klimaschutz verhandeln.
