On Sunday I was doing volunteer yardwork and my nose kept dripping from the cold air. I did have a 1940s hankie (Sturdy enough for a factory worker! Flowery enough for her to be a girl!) but I also had about 12 pockets in my overalls and coat, and kept losing it.
The 3rd or 4th time I found myself slapping all my pockets and feeling all round myself for pocket-handkerchiefs, it occurred to me that in all my hobbity life, this was the most Bilbo-Bagginsy I’d ever been.

Warum werden Schuhe eigentlich nicht nach Breite und Höhe bemessen, sondern nach einer Größe? Ich hab dicke, kurze Hobbitfüße und muss immer Schuhe tragen, die mit eigentlich ein bisschen zu lang sind. Bei Hosen ist das (bei manchen Marken) besser, ich hab nämlich auch eine stämmige Figur bei kurzen Beinen. #hobbitlife #fashion
