OK, I feel I've been watching too many videos about #BinFace & #ClactonOnSea (they should permanently #camelCase their name). But I feel Americans have know what a bin is since at least the 1970s. I mean, the USA doesn't mean the exact same thing, but it's close enough that there is no confusion.
Are there British words that would confuse me? Yes, yes they are. But it's also a #hoagie, not a bloomin submarine sandwich.

That bodega with the ten dollar hoagies closed for the winter storm and I don't think they are going to reopen.
It's the one on the corner of 45th on 9th, just south of that new-ish burger place, Lovely's, with the excellent onion rings served in a NY coffee cup.

Not sure we got the ‘best cheesesteak in Philly’ but we found one heck of a sandwich shop. The sandwiches were HUGE and the ingredients really fresh. The Statiooch was magnificent and the cheesesteak was good too.

I finally tried it! Been staring at that hoagie on the menu forever, at the Big Apple Meat Market sandwich counter. The Frankie Cheech: chicken cutlet on a (sesame) hero with roasted red peppers, prosciutto, and fresh mozzarella. It's good; the prosciutto's a bigger player than you expect. Sure, it's $13.99 plus tax but it's two meals at least.

I think this came out great. Plan now is to make it repeatable, double the batch, and start experimenting with different toppings.
Diastatic malt powder made a noticeable difference in the softness.
